This open communication approach promotes transparency and collaboration within the scientific community, helping to accelerate the speed of scientific discoveries.

The journal particularly welcomes articles that describe genomic and genetic research data, which can be genomic sequences, variations, expression patterns, or other genetic features from various organisms. In addition, journals also encourage the submission of articles reporting new analyses of genomic data, which may reveal new insights into the genetic basis of diseases, evolutionary relationships of species, or gene functions.
