圖書(shū)館理應(yīng)定期舉辦各種兒童文化閱讀活動(dòng),例如為兒童免費(fèi)捐贈(zèng)書(shū)籍,舉辦“讀書(shū)文化月”、“圖書(shū)展覽會(huì)”、“閱讀與寫(xiě)作”和“閱讀與提問(wèn)”活動(dòng),而且,圖書(shū)管理員和教師理應(yīng)加強(qiáng)與兒童的互動(dòng),隨時(shí)了解兒童的閱讀狀況。在組織兒童圖書(shū)捐贈(zèng)活動(dòng)時(shí),圖書(shū)管理人員應(yīng)該做好公益性宣傳,鼓勵(lì)外界人士、教師和兒童一起進(jìn)行書(shū)籍捐贈(zèng)活動(dòng),特別要注意為特殊兒童捐贈(zèng)有價(jià)值的書(shū)籍(例如為盲童捐贈(zèng)盲文書(shū)籍和為孤兒院與聾啞兒童捐贈(zèng)書(shū)籍),通過(guò)這種途徑可以不斷豐富兒童圖書(shū)資源,進(jìn)一步滿(mǎn)足廣大兒童的閱讀需要,全面做好閱讀推廣工作,是一種較好的圖書(shū)管理手段。而且,提倡兒童參與書(shū)籍捐贈(zèng)活動(dòng),不僅能有效的利用書(shū)籍,同時(shí)有助于提高兒童的公益愛(ài)心意識(shí),避免兒童對(duì)于廢舊書(shū)籍的浪費(fèi)。此外,為兒童免費(fèi)贈(zèng)與圖書(shū),可以進(jìn)一步發(fā)展兒童的閱讀興趣,滿(mǎn)足兒童的閱讀需求。在舉辦“讀書(shū)文化月”和“圖書(shū)展覽會(huì)”時(shí),理應(yīng)為不同年齡階段的兒童引薦不同的書(shū)籍;在開(kāi)展“閱讀與寫(xiě)作”時(shí),可以讓兒童嘗試寫(xiě)讀后感與讀書(shū)心得,引導(dǎo)兒童做好讀書(shū)筆記,并評(píng)比出優(yōu)秀作品,為兒童頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)品和榮譽(yù)證書(shū),從而有效激發(fā)兒童的閱讀動(dòng)力。比如,北海市少年兒童圖書(shū)館整合社會(huì)資源,與《北海晚報(bào)》共同在館內(nèi)成立“《北海晚報(bào)》小記者之家”, 成為小讀者集中培訓(xùn)學(xué)習(xí)和活動(dòng)交流的場(chǎng)所,為小讀者搭建了閱讀-寫(xiě)作-實(shí)踐平臺(tái),孩子們?cè)谶@里可以享受閱讀,學(xué)會(huì)觀察,學(xué)會(huì)合作,提高各種能力,并選擇優(yōu)秀文章固定每周三在《北海晚報(bào)》副刊上發(fā)表,大大提高孩子們的閱讀與寫(xiě)作熱情。在進(jìn)行“閱讀與提問(wèn)”活動(dòng)時(shí),理應(yīng)及時(shí)了解兒童的閱讀問(wèn)題,并幫助兒童解決問(wèn)題,可以在圖書(shū)館內(nèi)設(shè)置“閱讀信箱”,了解兒童想閱讀的書(shū)籍和閱讀過(guò)程中的問(wèn)題。湘西某圖書(shū)館就設(shè)置了“兒童閱讀信箱”,收到了許多來(lái)自?xún)和男偶?,有的兒童在信中指出自己想讀的書(shū)籍,像《奧爾良的姑娘》、《古希臘神話(huà)》、《中國(guó)民間傳說(shuō)》,圖書(shū)管理員在看到信件以后按照兒童的要求增添了新書(shū),滿(mǎn)足了兒童的閱讀心愿。部分兒童在信中提出問(wèn)題,曾經(jīng)有讀完《人魚(yú)公主》的兒童提問(wèn)道“大海里真的有美人魚(yú)嗎?”,也有兒童問(wèn)“牛郎織女的故事是真的嗎?”,該圖書(shū)館在每周五會(huì)邀請(qǐng)教師對(duì)兒童的問(wèn)題予以科學(xué)性解釋?zhuān)⒔柚嗝襟w工具為兒童開(kāi)始閱讀講座,依據(jù)書(shū)籍內(nèi)容為兒童播放有趣的視頻,如動(dòng)漫《小紅帽》、《龜兔賽跑》、《灰姑娘》、《白雪公主》、《神筆馬良》、《三國(guó)演義》、《馬蘭花》等,讓兒童充分體驗(yàn)了閱讀的樂(lè)趣,加強(qiáng)了他們對(duì)閱讀作品的理解,有效提高了圖書(shū)館的文化凝聚力。

綜上所述,實(shí)施兒童閱讀推廣工作,培養(yǎng)兒童良好的閱讀習(xí)慣,理應(yīng)從分級(jí)閱讀開(kāi)始,尊重兒童的發(fā)展規(guī)律,為兒童提供適合其年齡與心智的閱讀作品;不斷優(yōu)化圖書(shū)館教育服務(wù)結(jié)構(gòu),做好閱讀講解,維持兒童的閱讀動(dòng)力;定期舉辦兒童文化閱讀活動(dòng),讓兒童充分享受閱讀的快樂(lè),從而全面引導(dǎo)兒童積極參與閱讀優(yōu)秀作品,提升兒童的閱讀文化修養(yǎng)。
