it’s a very intresting topic today.
i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it
lhasa is the mixture of tradition and fashion.
firstly, lhasa has a long history. it is the political, cultural and economic center of tibet. it has lots of famous sights to offer. the potala palace is the most famous, a magnificent and wonderful place to look at. in my opinion it is a unique artistic achievement of the tibetan people. likewise, the architecture, carvings and paintings throughout the city show hard work, wisdom and bravery of our people.
secondly, led by the reforming and opening policy of china, lhasa has changed a lot. many new things have arrived up here, changing the face of the city. the old and new lie side by side in lhasa.
many new buildings, schools and roads have been built here. furthermore, the qing—zang railway leading to lhasa is being built. many shopping centers have been opened, and modern technology like telecommunications is spreading. the whole city looks prosperous, and our tibetan people take on a new look. every festival, people walk around freely on the new, wide and smooth streets, wearing the beautiful traditional costumes.
right now, i am looking forward to a festival called shodün which comes in june for eating yoghurt. at this time, all my family and i gather for a picnic together at the norbulinka, a famous garden. in the garden, we sing tibetan songs, dance “guo zhuang” on the grass; eat zanba, drink butter tea and barley beer on the beautiful carpet as well. we enjoy our life. i think that this festival exhibits the open-minded and optimistic character of the tibetan people.
the poet said: spring flowers to the door pushed open .
i said: thanksgiving to the door pushed open the living.
if you carefully listen to the voices of flowers, are everywhere harmonious life movement.
then, as a middle school student, how thanksgiving?
first thanksgiving their parents, because everyone’s life is a continuation of the parents of one blood, all of the parents gave us love, let us enjoy the human world of affection and happiness, therefore, we would like to thank the parents.
teachers are our growth, are our friends, teachers care for us , their words and deeds, let us benefit for life, we pay for teachers efforts and sweat, we should thanksgiving teachers.
i have had a lot of teachers in my school who have given me much help in my study. for their help i will never forget them. but today i am going to talk about a special teacher of mine. this teacher is not a human being and its name is“computer”. it has been teaching me a lot of knowledge and i appreciate it very much.
with the development of modern science and technology, computers are widely used in every teritories (1) including education. how can a computer be my teacher? how does a computer teach me? multimedia(多媒體)helps a lot in this aspect in recent years, and computer-based training (cbt) has become a popular educational medium (手段). even before the multimedia come (2) up, many different learning systems appeared, using the components and techniques we now associate with the term “multimedia”. multimedia components, such as graphics (動(dòng)畫(huà)) , animations , sound and video, make the learning process easier through visualization. animations can present many complex subjects dynamically, but human teachers can not do this on blackboards. multimedia makes our study more lively and interesting. for example, a cd-rom disk named “encarta encyclopedia” contains 650 mb information including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts, hotwords, and database search functions. fields involved includes physical sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education and so on. when pressing a button, i can hear american president clinton's speech clip. i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world. i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. this makes physical concept to be understood deeply (3). the audio features of multimedia can greatly help me learning (4) foreign languages. with its speech output capabilities, i'm no longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.
how can i interact with a computer? there are many ways, including keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. i often use a keyboard. when i press right keys, i can see and hear whatever i want. information world is at my fingertip. i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one day.
as teachers, computers have a lot of virtues: they are positive, they have good memories and never lose any information stored in them. they have much knowledge in every field. they can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also improve the efficiency of our study. for example, if i want to, i can skip some chapters so that i can study at my own pace.
